76 Vehicles Netted During Lintas Jaya Operation in East Jakarta

As many as 76 vehicles were netted during Lintas Jaya Operation in several locations in East Jakarta, Tuesday (8/27). The operation involved 35 joint personnel.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Riki Erwinda, said 76 vehicles were netted on Jalan Raya Cakung, Cilincing, Cakung, Jalan Raden Inten Duren Sawit, Jalan Ahmad Yani Pulogadung and others.

"Lintas Jaya Operation is routinely held at prone to violation areas. It is aimed to give deterrent effect for the road users," Riki said.

Riki added of 76 netted vehicles, 14 of them were ticked by Transportation Agency, six were stopped, and six vehicles were ticked by the police.

Then 21 two-wheeled vehicles against the traffic flow, nine bajajs were flattened, and 20 vehicles were towed.

"The operation also involved personnel of Traffic Unit, Garnisun, and POM TNI," he stated.
